This course equips participants with key capabilities for managing and leading organisations more ethically and sustainably. Topics will include ethical thinking, corporate social and environmental responsibility, stakeholder management, professional ethics, and ethical leadership. An applied ethical decision-making framework will be developed in order to handle ethical dilemmas likely to occur in business situations. Steps and measures to reduce the unethical climate of an organization will be identified. The costs of unsustainable or unsocial corporate decisions will be assessed and the case for strategic CSR made. Finally, emphasis will be laid on the differences in ethical traditions originating from the plurality of cultures.​

Welcome to the course Advanced Corporate Finance for the Hospitality Sector. 

In this course, Prof. Stéphane Haddad will help you gain a thorough understanding of key financial decisions made by hospitality companies evolving in an international environment. These include investment appraisal and capital budgeting, debt and equity raising, corporate transactions and risk management.

A particular focus will be given to the roles and objectives of capital providers and their involvement in the sector.

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to explain corporate finance decisions made by hospitality companies, analyze capital structures, identify and assess key drivers for investment in listed and non-listed companies and manage financial risks.
