Welcome to the course Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA)!
The objective of this course is to present and explain the STR material necessary for you to pass the certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA). The course will provide you with a thorough knowledge of the foundational metrics, definitions, formulas and methodologies used by the hospitality industry. By using application exercises you gain hands-on experience working with hotel data.
On completion of this course, you will be able to use the STR material in order to analyze and identify areas of improvement for a hotel property using the industry methodology and hospitality metrics, as well as benchmarking the property using the STAR reports, while considering relevant current events within the hospitality industry.
